Thanks Sandy - I'm glad that you liked it.
Spent a couple of hours at Manton Bay this morning. While I was there I only saw 2 of the juveniles and 5R although others in the hide said all 5 were around earlier. Lots of action though with one of the juveniles flying from perch to perch with the remains of a large fish. Looked like one of 5R all day breakfasts. The real highlight though was 5R taking off after a buzzard and the aerial battle that ensued. 5R was totally on the offensive and they came pretty close during the dogfight eventually drifting out of sight. There were at least 2 buzzards flying around this morning. Great entertainment.
Dont know what happened to my pics. I will try again:
Another couple of pics:
Thanks for pics Alan is that a very large fish I can see.
Margobird
Margo : The fish that the juve was carrying must have been huge as it had been around for about 3 hours with 5R and at least one of the other juveniles having a feed from it.
Thanks Alan that must have been a monster if it had lasted all that time.
Super action photographs Alan. That fish does seem large for a juvenile. All that fish at Rutland must make stronger birds.
