(After a search I found that we have had a dedicated thread for the Kielder nests in the past, so here's one for 2025 - not least so that if JAYDEE (Joanna Dailey) pops in she'll see it.)

Nest7
Resident female KX7 has been around for a few days:
05 April resident male KM18 arrived in the afternoon, but KX7 had been away since morning so he was soon mating with Mrs69 from Nest4.

Thank you Scylla for starting this thread, it's great now we have live feed from next 7.Thanks once again
06 April
The cam started out very glitchy so I made an early decision not to attempt any videos.
KX7 is back in place:
Assuming the male is KM18:
I didn't find any fish all day but there was plenty of time before and after live streaming. These two appeared to be getting on well.
08 April
The cam was down for long periods all day - but the pair seemed not to mind:

This, from JayDee
Viewers of the You Tube stream of Nest 7 will have noticed that after several short breaks in transmission the signal was lost at 15.17. The problem is at the communications hub in the Forest, and may be difficult to resolve. The footage should still be available at Tower Knowe for local visitors.
Aw that’s such a pity.
News from JayDee:
13 April
KX7 laid the first egg of the season between 03.00 and 04.00 today. It isn't visible on the nest camera because of the depth of the cup, but KF18 had a peep a while ago.
(I'm confused by "KF18", maybe I shouldn't be?)
Lots of comings & goings according to Jaydee. Multiple cam issues.
A lot of nests with cam issues this year.
An update from Joanna Blog 25/04/25
