HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY EQUINOX!
The spring equinox is 20 March at 9:01 a.m. in the UK and 20 March at 2:01 a.m. in California. The autumn equinox is 20 March at 7:31 p.m. in Adelaide, Australia.
Where I live, we are in that transition when one day it's hot and the next day we freeze in the snow.
No flowers are blooming here yet. The trees are fully budding out though. The super-mosquitos are alive and well and have taken up residence in my bedroom again this year! I haven't seen the groundhog yet.
Everyone have the best week possible.
Love and hugs to you all.
I posted an hour ago but it did not appear. I was trying to say it's not the page but me, I am running out of steam.
Nothing much seems to be happening here at the moment, so I don't want to bore you with non-events. For example, this morning I've made a casserole for the slow cooker, got rid of the rubbish, planted some bulbs dug up by the squirrels, cleaned the bird bath, changed my bedding and made coffee. What an exciting life I'm leading at the moment! I seem to fill every hour but often wonder how!
Hope everyone is OK, and those who are ailing are improving. We seem to have lost the sun again - that glimpse of summer didn't last very long.
I think most of us are the same, PAT ! In the doldrums, so to speak...
My computer is also telling me about Windows 11, RUSTY and DIBNLIB. It's getting very slow. My eldest daughter says that I should get a laptop, that nobody bothers with desktop computers for home use, these days. Am I really part of a dying breed ?!
Heather - Much against my better judgement, I have moved to Windows 11 in the last few weeks. It's not too bad - in fact, in some ways it's better (she says rather grudgingly!!!) It did switch me out of a Zoom meeting the other day while it did fifteen minutes of updates, which was not good ... but most of the time it's fine. I use a laptop which is around five years old, and I depend on it for a number of my activities. It works hard for me!
