I never got round to posting this yesterday.
I'm just looking around on the new laptop that I can't use because of network probs...
and look what I found !!!
Can't give it a time of laying until much later today when I get on the stopgap laptop, so one of you (no names mentioned but it's likely to begin with G) may have the info for us before then.
The egg was laid last night at about 22:20 - but the nestcup is so deep and near to the 'fence', it's difficultto see:
Blue35 taking over after YW's turn - a brief colour view of the egg:
Fantastic Scylla, well done in finding that. Great news!On Twitter/X they didn’t say a time.
They also showed us another of the hopefully nests.
It's no wonder I get so behind - just wasted hours going thru a couple of days of this nest, showing you how we can't see into the nestcup, etc,eg:
Then an apology to 35 and YW for neglecting them daily:
Then back to "we are deprived":
Having spent such a long time over that, I decided to check the last session that had been downloading in the meantime, only to find !!! And then wasted more time trying and failing to find some pushes, and of course we have no sound so no grunts either.
Thank you so very much for trying for us Sculla
18 April
For some time I suspected a third egg because I was only seeing one, which I judged could be perched atop the previous two - and maybe that was the case, because by 08:30 this morning there were definitely THREE!
See how unco-operative 35 has been - I got one glimpse and then she stuffed stuff in front of them:
Cam2 tonight (because I lost that stream for the day):
Here are posts from Foulshaw on Twitter/X re the eggs.
