This thread is for Osprey nests that don't warrant a thread of their own, and for other raptor nests of interest, in an effort to keep Osprey threads to a minimum for the sake of other Community members.

White-tailed Eagles, Cairngorms
If the eagles adopt this nest and breed, "we" may wish to give them their own thread and will have to decide where to put it.
The cam is solar-powered, there's been no nightcam so far. The timeline is not up to WildlifeWindows' usual standard, it's often unreadable :((( The WTE appeared @ 16:37.
A sign of WTE life behind the nest (after the mystery pair flies by):

EDIT 21 January
The breeding season for white-tailed eagles in Scotland is from 01 February to 31 August.

White-tailed Eagle
01 Febuary
Two flybys just after 11 this morning - but was it 2 different birds or the same one circling round? I'm not straining my eyes but it'd be nice if someone else would
First bird looked B& W, second mainly white ... is it possible to do slo-mo Scylla?

Continuing the attempt at keeping a daily record of WTE events.
One on far tree this morning and I think the other flew by ???
WendyBartter - re-examining yesterday's footage is not worth your time now, dear helpful friend
Hello Scozmos
Thank you for the "tutorial", it's super to see a new (to me) name among us and I hope you'll acquire the habit of - or preferably an addiction to - joining us, especially for the eagerly anticipated Osprey season which begins next month. I think your nearest live-streaming nests are LOCH OF THE LOWES and ALYTH (no link for the latter yet).
I had so much to say to you but the system is haywire, I've had to give up...
Hi Scylla, Scozmos has been with us wee while now. Posts regularly and gives us his garden updates and others. Don't know if he is another Ospreyholic like us and the others!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

ABU DHABI 2-DAD NEST
Well they may not both be dads but they're both providing without conflict, from what I can see. This nest had 4 chicks but one perished - but I can't reember if that was this season or a previous one, and I've lost where I got info from. Maybe someone more organised would like to fill us in?
Almost the whole day, the first part of the morning is missing:
Abu Dhabi 2-dad nest
05 March turns out to be a 2-fledge day!
Since last shown, I haven't managed to find both dads on the nest at the same time, but that's not to say they're not both contributing still.
I left off about 10 clips from the run-up to this, and even then the result is over 10 minutes long - if there's an error therein, sorry! Plus, I intended to put more captions to remark on activities/personnel, but got too tired.

WTE nest
For the sake of bulking out the CRESTIE I've included a little excerpt of the Wood Pigeons flirting on the far tree - they're very frequent visitors there in the mornings: (The eagles themselves are only evidenced by their voices, no nest visits.)
Abu Dhabi Ospreys
I don't think the third chick has fledged yet - it has always spent a lot more time sitting down than its siblings,I hope there's nothing wrong with its development.
