HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates the day. I hope you all have a joyful, peaceful time.
My heart is with those who are missing loved ones during this holiday season.
Tonight is the longest night of the year. It's very cold here, and some snow is glistening in the moonlight. The wildlife are hibernating in their burrows.
Love and hugs to all.
Oh dear, Rosie. How awful for you both. Glad he is home now.
It's mild here too: we went for a walk after enjoying a brunch of Eggs Benedict. Waiting (!) and nibbling now, for our Christmas "lunch" at about 4.00pm.....
Amber opening her presents....
Another lurker here wishing you all a peaceful and relaxing Christmas Day

ROSY - words fail me but actually I'm not as surprised as I would like to be. Thinking of you.
O, ROSY, that is terrible!. He will be tired anyway with the journey home and change of scene, so not easy to look after. I would say the lack of the medication is a cause for complaint, but trouble is they have scared us all into not complaining these days because we are so desparate for help! Thinking of you both through the remainder of the holiday time.
ROSY Sorry to hear this, very difficult for you.
Rosy - so sorry. Such an unnecessary worry. Glad your OH is home.
I am back from my sisters. It has been a lovely day. As usual my sister provided a superb meal. The children (two 6 year olds and a nearly 9 year old) were good and chatted way to me. I have to say though that I am glad to be back in the peace and quiet now!!!
We had a very nice time; was so nice that we were all ltogether. Right now I'm merely trying to stay awake....
Thank you Wendy. Happy New Year!
We are off out to lunch somewhere- as if we've not eaten enough....
Don't fancy this though....
LINDA - done up like a dog's dinner?
Happy Boxing Day! Phonecall from Durham last night - GD having to visit hospital every second day, but Daughter is havong to change dressings up to six times daily - hospital is just checking up on her nursing skills!
