HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a good week!
The red Northern Cardinals on my patch have chicks! I'm listening to them chirping, demanding food as I type.
My thoughts are with AQ, LINDY, and OG/Eagle-Eye tonight.
Love and hugs to everyone.
Thanks for that Annette. Nothing to report here. I have a very exciting day ahead doing housework!!
Hello all and Thank you DIANE -
I'm sorry, no news from here but I'm thinking about LINDY, OG, and especially AQ.
Our WiFi signal here has been off as they were doing what we were told were "improvements" yesterday and this morning.Yesterday was very wet and miserable- we went to see the Osprey chicks at Glaslyn (there are 3 healthy looking youngsters there & an attentive mother). Then we went to Porthmadoc and on to Criccieth, where we had a nice lunch & a walk along the short promenade. I had a huge pizza with Parma ham and my OH had chicken wings. Too full afterwards! Later, we went back to base to watch the tennis.
Lindy - what a lovely day out. So glad you saw the ospreys and that they are doing well. Nice places to visit afterwards too.
Quick update. OH now in geriatric ward of hospital. Decisions to be made.
Here our overnight min was 0.5 C, now at 7.30 am it's 0.9.C.
AQ: I hope the anxiety about impending decisions isn't getting in the way of you getting some rest. You have to be able to take care of yourself. Hugs from here.....
AQ..Bless you and family,A very ,very trying and tiring time for you.
As I have said before, life can be so cruel,When my late husband asked me to Marry him (59 years ago Doh), he said you do realise this is 24/7, .Little did I realise come his last days I understood what the 24/7 actually meant.
BIG HUGS and Prayers always on their way to you.
Take care of yourself if you can.
AQ - thinking of you and the family. Take care of yourself.
Im getting ready for my role at the local polling station tomorrow as I am a Poll Clark again - I do hope it will be busy as its a long day. I have to be there at 6am to set up the booths and place poster inside and out. I will get home about 10.30pm. We are not allowed to leave the building so have to take food and drink and book etc.
To everyone else - I hope ailments are few and the weather kind. Take care all.
SunnyKate: I don't know what ailed your OH, but I remember a book came out quite a few years back that was written for Alzheimer's families and was called "The 26-Hour Day," but which probably applies to many caregivers, no matter what the ailment.
Harelady: Good for you. I did that once and may do it again this year (asuming I haven't run away to Canada.....)
Thank you AQ for taking the time to update us about your OH - I can only echo what others have said. Thinking of you x
