Loch Garten Visitor Centre Delayed by just over a little more than 2 weeks in April 2024 with delayed re-opening planned to happen on the 15th April 2024. I though I would post this for those that don’t normally read the Loch Garten Osprey blog and if anyone was planning to visit Abernethy from the 1st April the normal date for the Loch Garten Visitor Centre re-opening..
Regards,
Ian.
Thanks Thomo. I've just noticed we can now 'like' posts rather than 'vote' for them. Progress?
Only the first post of any thread Korky ... hopefully amendments will be in place soon to save our combiined sanity!

Thanks for the info Ian!
Oh yes! I noticed after I'd posted that comment that it only applies to the opening post. Everything crossed.....!
Thanks for the info Thomo. Much appreciated

I can't even find it, THOMO Thank you for posting the unwelcome news.
Being wedded for years to the LG Osprey section and only adulterising with Wildlife on the Web, I'm hopeless at navigating - but I can't even see it in About I tried the Osprey Diary but that's been comatose since the beginning of last season
I wonder if they'll let us know when the cams are due to go live?

I hope the cams start well before the end of March otherwise we might miss the pair's return!

The LG cams have been down for some time, and hostile weather plus the location has delayed repair arrangements. We're up in the air right now.
Does anyone know where the VC posts info online on the LG threads. I can't find anything on the LG Diary. Have I just lost the plot and forgotten? The last one on the LG Diary was February 2023. The nest updates were always found there, so one could find a resume of the year.
Thanks for the update, Scylla. Hmmm! Fingers crossed. I imagine the nest is in a flooded area just now. It always was boggy I think.
