It's been bright here and we went for a walk.

Heather - So pleased you are on your way home. I'm sure you will be far happier in your own bed, your own armchair, surrounded by your own things. 'There's no place like home' is a truism that really is true!

HEATHER: YAY!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. I'm proud of you for all your hard work. I hope you will continue to heal and feel better. Enjoy being home!!! WOOHOO!

I tried to add a photograph to my post about the walk, above, but it wouldn't post. I also tried to reply to Heather's good news. It could be difficult to post this weekend, as its another Bird Watch so folks will be contacting RSPB with their results

ROSY: Thank you for your kind post. I remember that. That summer, I was embarrassed because I hadn't removed a bunch of weeds along one side of my house. It turned out that the particular weed growing there was exactly the type that a species of butterfly needed for their cocoons. So, I had glorious clouds of colorful butterflies, and I didn't feel bad about the weeds anymore. LOL

The weather has warmed up a bit here now. I hope you are well, Rosy.

Oh that is Brillian news Heather! Ten weeks - wow you will certainly love being home.

Hi, not forgotten you all, just not a lot going on down here. Did have a lovely birthday weekend last week culminating in Sunday lunch at my D-in-L's, we had a roast beef dinner with trimmings , started with a prawn salad and for dessert a tart ta tan, sorry not good at that spelling. She made it really special for me. We all had a good time with the meal washed down with good wine. Back to normal routine now. Weather here has been mixed, with the tale end of both storms, some sunshine and now cloudy. Dau off to meet up with friends at the InterChurch Panto this afternoon. We have an appointment at B&Q tomorrow to discuss kitchens so we'll see what that brings.

Yes, cranachan is the best Dibhnlib. Miss the Burns nights out that we used to have at our local church pre Covid. Minister has now left and gone up to North Shields, maybe he has started them there??
