Well, it's now 2024 and hopefully another successful year for the Poole Harbour Ospreys.
The last couple of years have seen the successful establishment of a nest and raising of young.
Translocated females From the harbour have set up successful nests in Wales also raising young.
Hopefully this year may see the establishment of a second nest in the Harbour area.

Here was the family last year
I hope Alison Copland won't mind but here is a link to a video she has made of the 2023 season. It is a must watch for followers of Ospreys, especially the Poole harbour family

3 months after first returning to Poole Harbour Blue 374 has reappeared on a Harbour nest today
Update to 374 sighting yesterday
Released by BoPH today.
1H1 is a 2022 female, the daughter of Mays and Blue 33, so a Manton Bay girl.
Don't forget CJ7 is also from Rutland
Thanks Richard, that would be great if they stay together. Rutland girls and translocated Poole males make fantastic partners.
I read on the Poole documents’ page that 5R1 the third hatched chick, fledged yesterday, 18/07/24.
5H6 the fourth chick, hatched 4 days after 5R1. He’s been practising, won’t be long ‘till he’s fledged too.
