  • Anyone having problems changing their sig? I am trying to change mine to this one but for some reason keeps reverting back to the old one. Ah well, will try later.

  • Logging off now but once again thanks to all for your kind messages of support.  I wish you all the best things in life and hope you all enjoy your Christmas.  I am now going to prepare veg for tomorrow and at the same time will be waiting to hear more about my sister.  Thanks for bearing with me but I will enter into the Christmas spirit as that is what my sister would want all her family to do.  Take care, keep warm and most of all keep safe.  Love Margobird nxx

  • As you say, margo - that is exactly what your sister would want for you, to try and have normality and enjoy what you can of the festive season. Thank you for your good wishes, and take care.

As requested, Hamish with coat. Took this quickly as it is starting to snow again:

"DO I REALLY HAVE TO POSE FOR THIS  ??"   -  "I FEEL A BIT OF A FOOL, EVEN THOUGH YOU SAY I LOOK SMART"

  • Thank you for the lovely Christmas card, Chloe - its beautiful.  Like the Santa hat avatar, too!

  • Lindybird I know the theory of how to post photos but I'm now wondering if something else is needed for other files! I'll try to do a version of the card.

Nope, not working although I've posted pictures before.

Alan Hamish looks reall smart in his coat.  My lot have reversibles - green side out for cold or wet, silver side out if it's very hot and sunny.  They don't wear them very often.

  • Alan, love the picture of Hamish. He looks so smart:)

    Chloe, love the avatar:)

Patriciat, have you tried sending the card to yourself and then copy and pasting that link?

  • Dear all:  Not organized enough to do lovely and clever cards like some of you, but am sending my heartfelt wishes for the very best for each and every one over Christmas, the New Year and beyond. Thank you so much for cheery acknowledgements to my silly posts, support in the midst of frustration and worry, and general good humor and interest in everything in this lovely world of ours.

Margobird: Wish so much I could be there to help do all the day-to-day chores while you're going through such a difficult time, though it sounds as if your OH - he does have a halo, right? - is an absolute rock of support.  I hope the sun chases the ice from the roads so you don't have to worry about that on the drive to your sister's. You'll be in everyone's thoughts - we are all very fond of you you know.  Hugs.

P.S. Alan: Hamish cuts a very fine figure in his coat - just perfect!

  • Hooray! It worked. Not sure what the problem was but it seems ok now.

Not a hope of catching up and replying to all posts but just to say thanks to everyone for all the Christmas wishes and cards here. They are lovely.

  • Afternoon all I eventually got a phone call about the boiler yesterday afternoon and was told it will be next week sometime before anyone can come out. I know what the problem is it is the condensate pipe which is outside that has frozen but as it is about ten feet up on the side of the house and I can not get up to it to defrost it but I am able to cope as there isn't a great amount of water. My problems are insignificant when you think of the worry that Margo has. Tomorrow am going to SiL's sister for C/dinner so I don't have any problems cooking.

    WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS
