  • Thanks for your diligent posts Karen. Amazing that this is always one of the first nests to 'get going' and yet the parents are both still around, unlike Loch Garten!

    Yes it is amazing and great for us that both adults spend as long here.

    I often wonder if it is because, unlike the other nests we monitor, there are very few intrusions and fish are plentiful here therefore no need for them to retreat to their winter location where they all seem to live in close proximity without conflict.
