Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

13:08 PF4 hasn't been challenged for the fish. I wonder where PF5 is?

14:00 3 hours 12 minutes since its delivery, still plenty of fish for PF4 to tuck in to
Strong wind and heavy rain! PF5's calls became louder so he must have been much closer to the nest, PF4 went into defensive mode (14:14)
14:16 PF5, possibly, flew from right to left over the Loch to the birch
PF5 went out of view after this but could still be heard fish calling. PF4 began to speed eat!
14:33 PF5 now on NC0's diving branch of the birch? Plenty of fish calling coming from him
It's a shame the cam isn't zoomed in onto the birch
15:45 PF5 still fish calling. PF4 eating
16:09 PF5 attempted to land on the nest. He had flown from the inlet, just left of the nest
Making his turn here
He made a quick turn
PF4 leapt up to him
The bottom of her left talons showing here
WOW!
PF5, right, flying off
He headed off to the left, back down the inlet
PF4 picked up the remainder of her fish, that had been dropped in the melee, and continued to eat
16:57 PF4 became quite animated, shouting and flapping her wings
A minute or so later, PF5 (I assume) landed on the birch
17:13 PF4 still with some fish in her left talons
