The liaison of Aran with a new female, Elen, taking over from much-mourned MrsG, has been almost seamless.
They have laid 2 eggs, the first of which hatched @ 01:38 on 31 May. It's been fairly subdued so far, but here were a lively few moments:

The cam went down last night and I woke up to hundreds of failed files :((( It's been back up for about an hour and 15 minutes.

A good capture didn't present itself so this will have to do - - - - - Elan feeding her brood a trout breakfast

Irresistible but actually Zero Aitch 1 and Zero Aitch 2, as ring numbers never include the letter Oh - or so I'm told.
Off topic, while I'm at it - please note, everyone who's not Irish - there's only one aitch in aitch, and it's on the back end
Elen spent the night on the perch, as usual, then this morning after a couple of flyabouts she brought a small stick and spent some time sitting with the chicks, who were preening:
