NC0 surprised us all when she arrived back at Lowes first, with Laddie making his initial landing exactly 6 hours later. She laid her three beautiful eggs after almost near-perfect, precise intervals of 72 hours between each one. Both Laddie and NC0 have regularly exchanged incubation duties and have been very attentive to protect their eggs, and nest, from multiple intrusions during April. The hatching window will open around the 10th May, all being well.

20:51 Could Laddie be on the feeding post of the birch? I can see movements of white (or are my eyes are playing tricks on me! lol) NC0 still calling on occasion
Edit: Unless it's a swan on the Loch!

There was clearly no-one on the feeding post at 21:42. NC0 had been looking across to the other side of the Loch while fish calling, maybe Laddie was over there?
Night cam came on at 21:44

22:16 Sleep well, NC0
A quick check through scroll back showed that NC0 took a comfort break at 22:40
She returned under a minute later
A quick shimmy on the eggs
23:37 All tucked in
Morning All,
Laddie hasn't visited the nest so far.
5:00 Soon after day cam came on, and the cam had panned out, NC0 was calling, facing towards the opposite side of the Loch, maybe she had sight of him then.
6:32 NC0 went off for a comfort break
She landed above the cam before heading back down to the eggs
7:38
8:01 NC0 calling rather loudly! There was flight over the Loch heading towards the birch and landed in the area marked
8:05 NC0 continuing to call very loudly!
Off to work (unfortunately!). BFN

About 8-30 Laddie brings in very large fish, that will keep her going for a couple of hours

That’s good to see NC0 getting a large fish.
