  • Lindy - Lovely dress. Your OH looks very like my brother-in-law ... and not a bit like a sheep!
  • CONGRATULATIONS, LINDY!

Enjoy your celebrations! Beautiful dress and photos.
  • In reply to Lindybird:

Congratulations to you and your OH Linda!!! You were a lovely bride!
  • In reply to Lindybird:

    LINDY Many congratulations.
  • In reply to Lindybird:

Lindy, many congratulations on your 50th WA may you have a super day and make many more loving
memories. Looking at your wedding picture I could have sworn that was my dad, only kidding, but what a likeness
    to my ol man.

  • Went to pick up new reading glasses today, prescription hasn't changed much but have a cataract on left eye that needs treatment. Was referred by optomotrist and have now been booked in for an initial assessment during half-term in May when my daughter will be able to take me as I don't drive.

Looks like you all have something going on, Rusty with visitors galore, AQ doing her bulb planting, and so on.
To all feeling under the weather do hope you feel better soon.

  • Had further health complications - and extremely tired!. Trying to be well for dentist appointments!

    Congratulations to Linda and OH!
  • Lindybird: Lovely pix - congratulations! (And look at that lovely blond hair!)

OG; Take care; good luck at dentist.

Didn't get out of my nightie until 3 p.m. yesterday after five very busy days. Feeling more or less normal although have spent most of the morning dealing with e-mails, forms, etc.
  • Thanks for more congrats. We've had some lovely cards from my cousins. Haven't reminded other relatives as didn't want a big fuss made of our event.

OG - Good to hear from you, but sorry you've had more complications. You must be tired. Take care.

I'm off to bed now, as tired after our busy day. I cut up carrots into sticks, & cooked some hard boiled eggs, and little chipolata sausages, at Ambers request. We have lots of food and may all still be eating it some days later!!
  • OG - I am so sorry to hear that you have more health complications. I do hope you are able to get the dental treatment OK. I hope things settle down too. Several people I know who have had covid recently have been left feeling extremely tired.
Lindy - I hope you and your OH have a lovely trip to the family today with all the lovely food you have prepared.
Annette - there is nothing wrong with a lazy day once in a while. After a quick trip to then opticians yesterday morning I did nothing else all day!! I had accumulated various magazines so I got them read or skimmed and recycled.
This morning I already have washing on the line. It is a lovely morning and I am going to a friend’s. She lives out in the country (only 5 or 6 miles away!) and is going to lead a walk along the lanes near her looking at the wildflowers. Quite a few of my Flora and Fauna group are going. I will try to take some photos.
