I was hoping you'd have found an explanation for this...
Idris dug this out of the nest and flew up to the perch with it - I thought he must have picked up a stick with some leftover fish:
But he ate on the perch and eventually discarded what looked lie a very long skin!
I couldn't find any sign of garfiish/whatever being delivered,was it a long lost leftover?
