MANTON BAY - MARCH/APRIL 2023

  • Scylla, 0657 and a Peregrine is eating breakfast on the nest

  • In reply to Richard G B:

I’m not sure I’ve seen a peregrine on this nest before.
  • In reply to Richard G B:

!                Well spotted Richard and, no pressure to Scylla or anyone but a posted 'snap' would be great. I'm just not good at rewind stuff

  • In reply to Richard G B:

I am on it, RICHARD - but have only been downloading the wide cam and I can see that we need the close one so am recording that from rollback - which will take a while.

How many times have decided to start the close cam and then got digressed?!

    Thank you for the snaps

    IMAGICAT

  • Thought I would add a few of some morning arrivals. Peregrine arrives with prey, gets disturbed, leaves but quickly returns, Crow comes to take what is left and then a pair of Egyptian Geese arrive for a bit. Pictures taken and posted from Tablet, so not the best quality.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • Thank you Lovely scaps and wonder if the Peregrine will be identified elsewhere.

This nest always brings so much interest, before the usual residents return.

  • In reply to Catlady:

Great snaps, CATLADY - and I yearn for your tablet skills

Well the screen-capture part didn't work that well for me, that laptop has always had a dodgy screen

EDIT - Plus, I need to figure out why there's no sound on some of it and there's blasting wind on the rest
