All the HISTORY of Balgavies Loch Ospreys can be found at the start of the 2019 THREAD.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

The nest failed in 2020 and 2019 but the new male KR3 and Unringed female returned in 2021 and raised 3 chicks.
In 2022 the nest collapsed but the one chick Blue 640 survived and went on to be a well fed and cared for chick.
Mary Rogers along with her husband found the chick when the nest collapsed and set in motion a chain of events that resulted in it being ringed Blue 640 which has proved very beneficial as you can see from my following post. Mary named the chick "The Bairn"

Thanks Mary, Never thought I would ever say this or possible but Darren's photos just seem to get better and better. As always, thanks for sharing
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Keep having bother getting into the forum - get the burling wheel of doom. I don't even log out, but the system must log me out all the time.
Anyway its great that Blue YD has got 2 chicks.
A super update from Darren, Mary. Thank you so much!
