After the tragedy of 2021, the 2022 Season was a great success, with 3 beautiful youngsters fledging and migrating - Blue 497, 498 and 499 (courtesy of Glider):
Here's to the safe return of our precious pair, MrsG (thank you MaryGK for the original snap) and Aran:

GLASLYN YOUTUBE CHANNEL - where the latest live stream links can always be found.
Today, this year's indispensable volunteers gathered to give us a Group Wave, and I thought we should pay tribute to them here:
(How sparse this seems for a season OP - but it's all I've got to give. I think we need the new thread sooner rather than later, being mindful of the likelihood of Dovey Devils and/or Clywedog Kids swooping in )
IMAGICAT
Sandra P said:8C hatched on the Glaslyn nest in 2014, parents Orange 98 and dear Mrs G. She has a very dark necklace, just like her sorely missed mum
Thank you, Sandra - I didn't start watching Glaslyn till Aran was established, I can't remember what year.
No full frontal, but here's a commemorative snap:
11 April
Aran flew in around 04:50 (?) - to the nest, to the perch, away.
He was in and out, sometimes with sticks. between 05:30 and 07:30, now he's back on the nest. No-one else seen.
I just loaded the (single) cam to find Aran dismounting from a heavily marked female !!!
Investigation commencing forthwith.
(It cculd possibly be MrsG but I won't get too excited.)
EDIT
(No, it's not easy because at the time I'm watching back, she's so wet - but it's not MrsG.)
This is from a while ago - it might be the first encounter but I'm having trouble navigating the footage so it'll have to do for an introduction:
MrsG Junior
Thanks Scylla. I wonder who this one is? Gosh, the 'ladies' all seem to be making a play for that handsome boy, Aran. No-one will ever beat Mrs G's stare, but this female is quite close to being in second place!
I'm sure I saw a fish at one stage but have had to give it a miss because I can't find its origin. 'Snot the end of the world
One failed mating, one very successful one - they were quite far apart but you can do anything with an untimelined cam
06.12 Aran skydancing his heart out just now. Yesterday’s female on the nest.
She’s very much like the female who visited Brenig before LM6 returned.
What a terrific start to the Glaslyn day! It's still going on - we just need a FISH now! Watching live, Aran is nestorising and she's standing by.
