Karen W said:Korky - a nightmare and thank you Glider. The mods did not replace the MB thread but at least I have managed to set it up again. I cannot however post past links when doing so, I was again blocked and moderated. Crazy but at least the MB thread is up again. :-)
Good grief, I wonder why that was, Karen?! Many thanks for persevering...
Wishing you good health
So good to hear from you Karen, we were getting worried. Sorry to hear that you have health issues, I wish you well. It is very sad that we have lost prominent posters, hopefully they will be looking down and following their beloved Osprey's and us here can keep posting what and when we can. Goodness knows what happened that you were moderated!? Hope it is all sorted now.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Good afternoon all, Crossbills were gathering nesting material on the Loch Garten Osprey cam. Not sure if we have a dedicated thread for LG yet.

I'm supposed to be getting around to it, Richard - I seem to be waiting for some news from LG HQ about how the cam/s will perform this season, and for the nest to be spruced up in preparation for the hoped-for arrivals.
In the meantime, I've been putting stuff in the Free-for-all thread.
I just didn't want lots of bits 'n pieces to get in the way of the main stars of the show, which is what's happening on other threads. Looks like I've got a bee in my bonnet this season
I shall (hopefully) track down JANE's Crossbills later (can't do it at the mo) and do a video if poss. I remember we had them very clear at the beginning of last season, not just looking as tho they had seeds in their beaks
IMAGICAT
The LG cam appears to have gone down around 09.17. Glaslyn looks rough, high water and strong winds.
Edit: Heather at Glaslyn reported on chat that the internet had gone, but by the time I tried to report it, it appears to be back again and the cam has been restored.
12:07 PMHeather Corfield It looks as though there was a power outage at the Visitor Centre end as the cameras all went off.

UKOspreys.uk Countdown - courtesy of Pete Dee RIP (Laddie is due back today but it's snowing at LotL).
Does anyone know if anyone has taken it over?
In reply to scylla:
It was Pete's own website and no-one else has access to it. When the subscription ends I believe that will be it. There is another site started up, both on F/B and as a website, and everything has been copied. Facebook page is called "UKOsprey information" and is being run by Geoff Kear and Tiger as an Admin. Website is UKOspreyInformation.com So hopefully it will all carry on and be kept up to date. It's looking good so far.
That new website looks fab thanks Richard. What a lot of information.
