Bookends!
09.21 This morning's aerial encounter with the Hoodies. I zoomed in a bit the better to appreciate the action:
Dreich day - very wet and windy (howling gales) and it's even been snowing.
05.35.15 Louis is heard skydancing for three minutes before he appears and lands at 05.38.26 with night cam still on. Day cam comes on at 05.45.27, he stands quietly until departing at 05.58.57.
Mating on the high perch!
06.23.47 Louis flies off, has a near miss with Dorchaon her perch, circles round, lands on her for a successful mating attempt at 06.23.57, departs immediately afterwards, Dorcha remains on the high perch.
Fish number one
Dorcha's yelling was answered at 08.07.47, Louis delivered a headless trout. He needed the calories after all his skydancing, flying on-off constantly, and mating attempts this morning
