Wednesday 28th June Nest One 06.18
Garry (Blue LV0) arrives very early, no one there, does a bit of tidying then departs a couple of minutes later
N2 06.33.24 Fish number one, whole BT, still flapping
N2 07.36 Louis lands on the chick! But no harm done, and the chick takes it in its stride, no retaliation as it would have done recently. Seems much calmer being so grown up - ie a whole week older
Wednesday 28th June Nest One
Garry LV0 departs at 10.31.32, Affric stays and calls for five hours! but Garry doesn't return to Nest One, she finally departs at 15.41
Wednesday 28th June N2 11.41.56
Fish number two, headless brown trout
Wednesday 28th June 13.49 Dorcha brings a huge tricky stick which goes round and round before se deposits it in the same place - the middle of the nest!
It takes Louis to arrive and sort it out.
Wednesday 28th June 15.11.43 Fish number three, headless BT, arrives but the chick's home alone. Louis waits patiently until Dorcha returns.
Wednesday 28th June Nest One 21.24 Garry pays an evening visit
Wednesday 28th June Nest One 23.11 Another late evening visitor - a Short-Eared Owl this time! Stays for less than 20 seconds.
Two clips, one in real time, the second edited to brighten, slow down, and zoom.
A blast from the past from 28th June last year
From my Artistic Ospreys series, set to Chopin: Dorcha strikes the wrong note
