2022 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 13th March; NC0(16) - 23rd March
Looking forward to welcoming back Laddie and NC0 to this wonderful location at Loch of the Lowes. Will Laddie, in his 12th season, beat his earliest arrival date that he achieved last year? Will NC0, her 4th season, be heard before she is seen on cam? Could we see the return of their 2021 offspring, LR1 and LR2? Here's hoping they have safe, spring migrations so as to grace our screens once again.

Geemeff said:Comprehensive round-up - thank you Sandra! I did attempt a video but the buffering defeated me. If there was a clock I could be sure of repeats but.. Lovely photos - great job.

You're welcome, Geemeff, and thank you.
Aww, never mind, the LS was quite 'challenging' late this afternoon - it's been buffering this evening too.
Hoping that Laddie will bring an early breakfish for NC0 otherwise our sound have to be kept on low!

Morning All,
Laddie delivered a headless fish at 7:35
(LS pixelated when NC0 collected the fish so no pic of that).
She flapped her wings
Off she went
Well done, Laddie!
8:30 Laddie continuing to incubate; NC0 still eating (I assume)
9:04 Laddie chipped while incubating. He stood up, flapped his wings, scanned the sky then settled down again - no threat seen. NC0 remained on the birch. LS is buffering/pixelating/freezing quite a lot
Morning Glider,
Yes, it was also lovely as our ears will not be subjected to her shouting today - well, maybe for a little while at least! lol
Hahaha, yet there’s something about NC0’s shouts that we just love!
11:53 Laddie is still incubating. After a quick scroll back, I can't see that NC0 has returned to the nest since leaving with her fish
BTW, just to note, with the constant freezing (stop/starting) and buffering of the LS, the scroll back time is out of kilter - ie at present, it shows Laddie delivering the fish 3 hours 12 minutes ago (from 12:00) which, of course, it wasn't.
12:05 Laddie up off the eggs, chipping. Distant alarm calls (or possibly skydancing calls?) too
Flapping his wings and chipping
He settled back down - no threat seen
