Glad to see you, Patily
Axel surprised us with a sudden, brief appearance after 6 days' absence! - https://youtu.be/W0tN1MlRJY0
This afternoon I was looking at my doc that I copy YT descriptions from, and I thought "Who's Asha?" - it took a second for the penny to drop, she's still mentally Mistle We last saw her on the 14th, then Axel on the 15th until he turned up as above.
1C2 last seen @ 66 days old! Differences of opinion as to whether he'd been deserted or not (except by calm intruder KL5) and it looks as tho SHEILA was right, he could well have been being fed by Axel "out there". The VC knew no more than we did.
I think that 1C2 was last seen on the 18th - Sheila posted:
1C2 has only seen see three times today, each time relatively calmly compared with some visits 06.06-06.15 08.55-09.05 09.10-09.11
If you save pictures, here's the last "portrait" I did on the 16th:

Sorry !!! Thank you, KORKY! Corrected in post.
No, Axel didn't turn up today, that was to show Patily when he did turn up after his long absence.
29 August cont'd
Quite a few Chaffies and 2 GSWs between 11 and noon - rough samples:
A bit later, as reported by TREVOR:
Mid-afternoon the Chaffies were back:
And there was a probable Coal Tit in amongst the sticks, didn't show itself fully.
It's getting dark so early now!
12:23 This time it is an osprey, right? :-)

It's KL5
Well spotted Bart. He really will be a great dad when he finds a mate. He's back to make sure there is no one around!! Really we would have expected a non-breeding male to have been well on his way by now. I love him even more! I'm never going to forget his reaction when he landed and our beautiful 1C1 was on the nest. She seemed to accept him. I half wondered whether he was going to bring in a fish for her. Sigh.
