So, we now enter August knowing that we will only have the pleasure of watching this beautiful family all together for a limited number of weeks. Both LP8 and LR0 have transformed into two strong, independent individuals. Their attentive parents have continued to provide for and nurture them and this, in turn, has given the juveniles a basis to continue their growth into full adulthood, wherever they decide to settle during the next couple of years.Last season, NC0 began her southerly migration on the 22nd August; Laddie on the 25th (these dates were their last webcam sightings). We can only hope that all of the 2022 family have safe, unhindered journeys to warmer climes, aided by fair winds as well as an abundance of fish along the way, and that we will welcome Laddie and NC0 back to this stunning Loch of the Lowes location in the spring of 2023.

There have been no more fish deliveries
At 21:17, after having a conversation with LP8 who was on the cam post, LR0 left the nest
Landed on the low branch of the birch
There was some vocalistion from both of them before LP8 flew from the cam post at 21:22ish
As it got to the birch area, it swerved left and headed to the area marked
Just before night cam came on at 22:04, LR0 was still on his perch
Laddie hasn't been to the nest since the 18:08 fish delivery. Another day where NC0 hasn't made an appearance

Good morning, 7:38 ENS at present, no fish deliveries as yet. LP8 has been on the perch/nest (flew off at 7:04), LR0 was on the cam post - both shouting for fish.
LP8 just before leaving the nest
8:45 LR0 down from the cam post, shouting
9:13 LR0 briefly remonstrated at an unseen intruder
9:23 Resting
I'm away from my computer until later this afternoon. Hopefully, there'll be fish deliveries for the juvies soon. BFN
16:14 I've had a scroll through footage since my last post, still no fish deliveries as far as I can tell. Both LP8 and LR0 are, at present, on the nest shouting!
Where is Laddie?
Both shot off the nest at 17:11. There was the sound of movement within a nearby tree that spooked them
17:23 LR0 on the nest, LP8 heard on the cam post
20:10 Still no fish or any sign of Laddie. The last sighting of him on the nest (from my observations), was when he delivered a fish at 18:08 yesterday - 26 hours ago . Both juvies have been on and off the nest this evening, either together or one on and the other on the cam post. LP8 and LR0 have had occasional moments of screeching as if a fish was on its way but then silence when one isn't delivered - perhaps they had seen Laddie in the area at those times?
I hope Laddie is ok...
20:36 Both have just landed back on the nest - shouting for fish. LR0 nearest the cam
20:45 Waiting...
LADDIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fish at 21:12 - OH NO...the 'live' fish flapped over the left edge of the nest!
LR0 was waiting on the nest alone, LP8 had flown off at 21:00 and headed low behind the birch
LP8 incoming
The fish flapped over
