In reply to Sandra :
Morning all,
LP8 was first to the nest at 5:24 and found the discarded fish tail
Having finished it off, LP8 left the nest for a short while but, came back again to receive a 'live' fish from Laddie at 5:48ish. LR0 arrived too late to make a claim
LR0 waited on his chance to take the fish and succeeded at 6:30ish
7:52 There have been no further fish deliveries. I wonder if NC0 will make an appearance today?

13:43 There haven't been any Osprey visits to the nest since LR0 made a brief appearance at 9:28
14:19 LP8 and LR0 (front) have been on the nest since 13:50, occasionally fish calling
14:25 LP8 has since flown
16:38 Laddie to an empty nest with a fish. He stood there for less than 30 seconds then began to alarm call,
Just as he flew off nest (with the fish) an unringed intruder arrived. Laddie dive bombed it twice - first from the front of the nest and then from behind. The intruder flew off.
It made a couple of contact calls
Laddie was heading to the nest, unringed intruder's reaction
A female?
Laddie's wing, on the right
He flew up
Laddie back around. The unringed intruder took flight
The intruder could be seen travelling at great speed over the Loch and headed towards, and then beyond, the birch corner
Both LP8 and LR0 have been on the nest since 17:10, fish calling. They became very vocal at 19:56 when there was a landing on the birch (whoever it was, flew from beyond it, low over the Loch)
20:00
Whoever it was, flew from the birch at 20:02 and headed back around the birch corner
LP8 left the nest at 20:31
Laddie has not been back to the nest. Both juveniles are hungry
21:11 LR0 on the perch calling for fish, LP8 is above the cam, doing the same
21:14 LR0 took flight and could be seen talon dipping
21:17 LP8 (right) was on the nest, LR0 returned. As LR0 landed, LP8 raised its wings at the same time
21:22 Watching and waiting
21:26 A small 'live' fish from Laddie
LR0 looked wet (furthest from the cam)
Both went for the fish
The fish flapped (seen on LR0's right)
It flapped again and landed under LP8
LP8 picked it up
Laddie flew in the direction of the opposite side of the Loch but then headed right
At 21:40, LR0 made an attempt to take the small morsel of fish that was left
21:43 Having eaten all of the fish, LP8 flew from the nest
A spot of talon dipping as it headed low over the Loch
LR0 left at 21:45ish, made a quick circular flight close to the area of water to near the birch area and came back to land on the perch
After a quick preen, landed onto the nest
Then headed off again at 21:48ish
At 21:51ish, LP8 landed on the perch, LR0 could be heard above the cam - fish calling
LP8 then left the perch at 21:54 and headed to its usual roosting spot
ENS since then
Good morning,
LP8 - 83 days old; LR0 - 81 days old. NC0 last seen at the nest - early afternoon on the 7th August (only on my observations)
7:47 ENS at present, no fish deliveries yet. Both LP8 and LR0 have been on the nest, searching for scraps - LP8 found the tiniest of morsels on the edge of the nest (7:18ish)
Hoping for, ideally, a huge fish delivery from Laddie (or NC0 for that matter) so that LP8 and LR0 can share.
