All quiet on the Osprey front. Mistle started gently food soliciting, then quiet, then stood up to reveal.........
,, what appeared to be a half eaten rainbow trout! No doubt Scylla will be able to get a much sharper image than me. All this happened about 5:45. It was as stiff as a board. When was that delivered?
Afrer faffing around getting images 1 of them has come back to the nest and is incubating - can't tell which.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

How generous of you, JILL
It's another day of problems for me here, I'm packing up for a while.
Stick wrestling while in a seated position
(c) RSPB Loch Garten
Ghastly stick at noon:
And a half-decent one fell off the front fence @ 14:00:
This was the best I could do for the 18:01 fish reported by CRINGER - the flyin distorted its shape:
This is what it looked like when Mistle brought it back to torment Axel with, only 12 minutes later:
Axel got up, thinking he'd claim it but she ate for 3 mins and flew off with it again. 18:26 she brought it back (mere scrap) and finished it at the front of the nest almost on top of poor Axel, he left, she took over.
Mistle sorted sticks and ended up blocking our view of the eggs, we'll have to hope that more sorting sorts it out for us:
Once she settled down, that was it for the evening.
