Morning ALL – thanks for the updates and once more my gratitude for all your kind words.
And yes Patily, it is exciting waiting for the first hatch :-)
Presently Maya patiently continues incubating
raining here now. Maya checks the eggs while changing position
LAM - lovely to see you're at your (well perhaps one of) favourite place :-) and of course thanks for your updates / captures.
How long are you staying? Hopefully the weather is kind and they put on a good show for you.
I must go out but will catch up with everything and everyone later. BFN
Enjoy your day LAM :-)
catch up
09:37 33 arrived with a large stick
which he plonked on Maya
then 33 shoved Maya off the eggs :-D
Maya rose and took off leaving 33 who then does a quick check
and settles down to incubate
expect there will be some skinny cows around!!
10:34 33 looks up as Maya approaches with a huge bunch of hay
Maya picks away at it
then settles down
nest certainly looks nice and cosy
12:29 change over - 33 takes over incubating
