AX6 Axel and his lovely unringed partner Mistle are bonding well, and Mistle has been threatening to lay an egg - we await developments.
It seems that Mistle has been on the perch & nest all night:

He was indeed Jane!
Another bit of fish! Many a mickle maks a muckle. The boy's dun tremendous this morning
NOT great news Karen. Far from it.. This male Osprey has a lot more to prove to me.
PS It's good to see you back. Hope all is well with you and at home

Oh, come on Cirrus, as much as I love you, I hope you are wrong. I think a lot of our thoughts and comments have been because we are human. Apart from the one fish Mistle caught (I was away and couldn't find it) she hasn't starved. He has been around when she calls and away when she is quiet. I think I've turned the volume down more often than not.
I am heartened that Axel has been around since dawn, has brought a fish in and incubated, all within the first twentyfour hours. I am feeling positive.
I do however agree with your comment about Karen!! And lovely to see comments of EJ and Odin.

I amy have misunderstood the posts but I think the count is 2 fish delivered,
YEGADS! Is that now THREE fish today and its not yet noon?
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

He's doing his best this morning, CIRRUS
