Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

It's so scenic at Lowes isn't it, Glider, and with ever changing colours. I particularly like it at dusk with the dark blue/green tones.
NC0 had a fish lunch delivered by Laddie at 13:30ish
Scrolling through the footage, Laddie has brought some bark to the nest, NC0 some grasses. There have been regular changes of incubation duties.
16:09 At present, NC0 is incubating

16:17 A headless fish from Laddie. A much chunkier one than at lunchtime!
She headed off to the right but could be seen flying over the Loch to the birch
Laddie had a good flap of his wings before settling on the eggs
UNRINGED FEMALE INTRUDER OVERHEAD AT 17:39! Laddie had been chipping while incubating.
There was an Osprey sitting on this branch then flew. Could it have been the intruder?
The intruder had come from beyond the birch area (above the birch itself)
Intruder off screen as Laddie flew upwards
Then he landed back on the nest
NC0 leaving the birch
NC0 incoming
Laddie mantled. NC0 moving to protect the eggs
On alert
Unringed intruder coming back round
incoming
She flew over the cam
Laddie off
Laddie came back to the nest at 18:02ish for a short stay with NC0
Both were calm and Laddie left the nest
18:25 NC0 dozing in the sun
Laddie took over incubation at 19:26

Great photos with intruder overhead Sandra.
19.25 NCO was sitting peacefully when Laddie arrived looking brilliant white in the sunshine. He stood beside his mate for a few minutes then she got up and flew off and he settled down on the eggs to do a bit of preening.
They look so lovely together.
Thank you! It took a while to gather the pics while on slo-mo! lol
They really are lovely together, what a team they are too
Many thanks for your early evening pics, Glider!
21:01 NC0 returned to the perch
She wasn't there long before moving onto the nest. Laddie had already started to rise from the eggs
Off he went
NC0 settled to begin her overnight incubation
