Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

I was convinced this was a Flounder incoming, couldn't get a good shot as the nest was so dark - this has been ultra-lightened:
EDIT - better pic of incoming:
13 minutes later we got a semi-zoom and I've cropped it as well - whatever this fish is, it's substantial!
IMAGICAT
The little bobs came out to help defend their nest against the unseen intruder!
7:56 NC0 got up from the chicks, calling really loudly. I thought a fish was incoming but it wasn't to be. She settled back down to brood. Perhaps NC0 saw Laddie? Hopefully, he will bring another fish very soon. BFN
And hopefully, she won't lose it next time! Good to see Laddie's right eye looking better today.
When Laddie delivered the 2nd fish this morning at 09.26, he was straight into intruder calling mode.
NC0 joined in before beginning feeding.
Laddie hung around for 6 or 7 minutes, cleaned his beak and left.
NC0 continued to feed the chicks, the youngest took a couple of morsels, still tired after it’s long hatching (23 hours according to LOTL blog)
Another 3 feeds off this fish throughout the morning. The chicks grew more tired and full as the feeds progressed. Laddie brought back the tail end at 13.42 for another feed. This was the fish that just kept giving!

Laddie’s right eye fully opened. That is good news.
Cam went down a little earlier

Laddie arrived at around 17:40 with a stick that he placed on NC0's back!
NC0 placed the stick in front of her
He chipped while there, both looked around and were alert.
Laddie left the nest at 17:45
