I thought I might bump up this thread which goes back to 2011 (it's been bumped before) and was started by the wonderful Tiger
It contains all sorts of useful info on technical problems, handy hints for inserting photos and links and, latterly, the fact that we seem to get 'notifications' that we can't get rid of (I'm up to 6).
If nothing else, another trip down memory lane.

I didn't respond to you, sorry!
I hopy you're all better now
That's quite all right thanks scylla. I could see (but only intermittently) that you were all posting. It's all been very strange the last few days. I half wondered if I'd been chucked out of the group for poor behaviour :-))
Well, "notifications" are now only coming through for posts posted 24 hours previously and the only way I can keep up with current/latest posts is to click on the Loch Garten osprey thread and see all the sub-threads and when the last post was made. So I am unticking all my 'notifications' settings. This may mean I miss any replies to things I've posted, or miss 'liking' someone else's posts. Don't be offended. One day normal service may be resumed by the RSPB IT folk but I'm not hopeful.

We almost never used to use the Like button - now it's more like an acknowledgement that we've read a post.
IMAGICAT
I'm receiving 'likes' to my posts straight away so something's working right.

Poole Harbour #2 - there's no link to the live cam (which I believe is now back up) on the Channel page, so I've gone to post a query in Chat but look what I got !!!
I remember, early in the season, one of the cams designating itself as "made for kids" and thought about asking them if it was a mistake... but I couldn't think how to phrase it and some cam operators take offence at "queries" so I didn't:
.
I do think that YT's "made for kids" policy desperately needs clarifying.

Here is the page number I was talking about on chat. Just change that page number and it makes a huge difference on big threads.
Current technical thread.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
