All quiet on the Osprey front but all delighted to be able to watch the NEW nest on the NEW cam. Thanks to all for the hard work erecting / installing both. You derserve a sucessful breeding pair this year for your efforts.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

I think it had a silver ring, I couldn't see any blue ring. The chat forum is calling it Axel but I can't say it was or it wasn't.

I remember a male in LG who battled against 5 others and who held the throne for a while....?2002? Black 8Y........... he was useless and we were told by staff at the fish farm he used to try and take dead / injured rainbow trout out of the small buckets they kept for fish that were on their way out.
