Mrs G defying gravity
Good afternoon all, here's my latest blog for Conservation Without Borders Flight of the Osprey project, the subject is Osprey rescues. Balgavies Loch, and Aran & Mrs G get a mention.

The Flight of the Osprey expedition set off today. The press picked up the story, here's one version. Sadly I think it's last year's tragedy that holds their interest, but to be fair, they do give a good overview.

Eldest Pont Croesor Fledges
Edit: There was mention in the comment section on Fb asking whether the chicks had been ringed, a reply stated 'yes' but no details were given.
I scrolled through the UK Ospreys site and found these Darvic numbers. Strange that the parent birds (Blue Z2, Aeron, and 014) are not mentioned, they were recorded on last season's chick info

Good detective work Sandra. Yes, I wonder why they wouldn’t mention the parent birds? Pity we couldn’t edit them in!
