2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

I had a feeling, CRinger, and it's not long that I got it set up on a screen-capture so we could have a timeline for his landing - 06:16 - and, unusually IIRC, he dropped down from above!
BTW, I had been checking the birch but not seen him, and didn't see any flyby but I need to check again for that - his appearance gave me a start!

Good Morning all
It is so good to see him tidying up the nest already, bless him he pulled a great big stick that was firmly rooted across the middle of the nest and placed it just exactly where he wanted, now we all know it will be moved around several times by NC0 when she returns.

Good morning SANDRA & MARY
He's keeping me very busy, doing his first morning's nestorisings video - but am breaking off for a snap of his first nestcupping:

Woo hoo!
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
