2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

Glider said:“A slight foot tap on Laddie’s wing from NCO” I’m laughing out loud reading this - what’s she like!!
Ha, ha! I so love her ways!.
Morning all,
Scrolling back, that was Laddie, Patily. At around 8:40, while he was incubating, there was an unseen intruder in the area - he chipped/alarm called and flew from the nest. NC0 was close at hand though and took over looking after their eggs.
Chipping
Flapping
He headed off
NC0
She settled to incubate. Laddie did return to the nest a couple more times after this (8:48 and 9:12) but NC0 remained on duty throughout.
Laddie's flyaway at 9:18
10:45 Fish from Laddie. Both he and NC0 chipped/flapped for a few moments on his arrival then NC0 headed off to the birch. Laddie began incubation
Both calm
NC0 leaving with her fish
Apologies for the long post.

Good morning, I was watching live, taking in the sights and sounds when the live fish was delivered at 10.45. Small trout I think?
Fab screenshot of the delivery, Glider! I'm slightly obsessed with taking wing captures, BTW!
Laddie chipped and alarm called for a minute or so just before 11:50 and once again, no threat seen. He continues to incubate.

What a brill pic - I wonder how often he's there and we've no idea?

NC0 returned at 13:06 She could be seen flying from left to right before coming in to land
