2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

02 March
There was a Great Tit on the nest in the morning, then the EGs - very, very loud! One did a lot more grass-eating than I've shown - might make Laddie's job easier if it keeps it up for a few days.
The cam went down just before 9 this morning, not back up yet. Pre-season tart-up?
IMAGICAT
Yep, you were right, Scylla - pre-season tart-up completed! LS came back on just after 15:45
Perhaps the lack of grass will deter the EG's. Fab video by the way, thank you!

Dang, I just checked, estimated the re-up time and took a snap, came here armed and, oh flip, too late
Thank you, Sandra!
New URL, in case anyone besides me needs it.
Laddie will have a great time with those beautiful sticks!
A brief visit from the EGs just before 7am

No need to watch this but I wanted it on the record. They arrived with such fanfare and were honking long after they left, having found no grazing on the nest
There were at least FIVE corvid visits, which I didn't linger over but this was the longest and most active:
