2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

LM12 has arrived back at Loch of the Lowes
I compared my glitchy GSW footage with GEEMEFF's video and see that it's the same. Also, the stream dropped out at least twice while I was "away" but picked itself up again. Just sayin'.
They've been creating preset zooms:
Preset birch (not long before, I think Laddie had a fish there):
Preset nest:
Laddie closer - as Billy has remarked, he's been busy this afternoon but I haven't covered any more nestorising:

At least the stream comes up again Scylla - Loch Arkaig's is going through trying times, currently a choice of a green screen or footage from yesterday, plenty of time to get it sorted before ??? someone arrives to claim the nest!
Love your Laddie clips, have given them likes on YT.

That's very kind of you, Geemeff
More buffering now 'n then and 2 dropouts that I've counted.
Camperson tried to zoom right in on Laddie's head but couldn't focus - here are 2 crops from lesser zooms but that means the resolution is poor. Nevertheless, am celebrating internally how fit and beautiful our Laddie looks
14 March
Laddie rested between nestorisings - a Blue Tit visited for 1-2 seconds:
Here he was during his final work session mid-afternoon:
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
Couldn't beat you this morning, CRinger, I was doing Manton Bay's EGs.
He's been standing looking out over the Loch steadfastly but just turned to look this way for a couple of seconds:
