Good Morning, Everybody. Sunny here but we felt very cold on awakening: only 2 degrees.

It's a shock to our younger population to find that suddenly there is a war in Europe. I suppose everyone was hoping and indeed expecting that it would not happen.

Yes LINDY, my friend is still doing well though struggling to find a prosthetic that suits. She is now going to be given one with a fixed knee so hopefully that will do the trick,

We are going to see "The Duke" later this morning. Should be good with Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren in it.

Enjoy, Dibnlib -- I've heard very good reports of it. Personally, I go to anything with Jim Broadbent in it!

Thought these were wonderful!! How clever people are.

My Rise and Recline Chair gave up last night! I was sitting relaxed and with a loud bang it sank to the floor - something in the mechanism broke. I needed both OH and J to help me out of it. I am now going to use OH's (a bit large for me, but can improve support with cushions) until I can get a new chair ordered - probably a new one for him too since his is the same age and has a couple of control faults. Trouble is, J needs one now as he struggles to get up with his knees! So more money having to be spent!
