Dau#2 not happy. After six weeks summer holidays, 2 weeks home schooling, at last the Trio were back at school. By Thurs a child in Twins’ class had covid. And now MissL has tested positive, though not very sick. So far rest of family have tested negative but they have to quarantine for 2 weeks. Luckily Dau did a big catchup shop early in the week. I have offered to deposit bread, milk, etc at their front door when needed. I shall also give them most of my homemade pasties.
Poor Queenie has caught it too. Hope it’s only mild and she can quickly return to her celebrations.
Just a thought
You ought to pray for grace to handle the uncertainties in life. (Lailah Gifty Akita)
Oh dear, your poor daughter, AQ. What a trial, and also a worry that the rest of the family might go down too. I hope they'll all be OK. Good Morning, Everyone. Wild gusts blowing here, which sounds worse than the other day when we had warnings. A friend of mine who lives in the Midlands had tiles come off her roof, and to add insult to injury, they fell on her car and damaged it, although not too badly. My tooth had some sharp edges so I took a strong glass nail file and rubbed a corner of it to ease my discomfort. Still waiting and hoping for a cancellation so that it can be fixed.
I hope that Diane is now resting after her marathon effort, and keeping safe in her winter weather.
Lindybird: I'd say the last few decades (centuries?) and has only accelerated with the arrival of social media. :-( Good Lord. Now we're filing our own teeth. Do hope you can see someone soon.
AQ: Arghh. If you're like our family, you'll be afraid to ask What Next?!
