Dropped fish!  Noisy partiers!

This is never-ending - she's constantly leaving the egg to perch on the corner, and here was the party boat returning noisily:

Gosh! I'd like to think the ospreys would get used to the party boat if, sadly, it's going to become a regular feature. The Dyfi ospreys get used to the trains (which were there before them of course). Maybe the party boats were too!

What can one say , sigh. Far be it from humans to 'turn the sound down' whilst passing adjacent to the nest and instead try night bins to view the birds (or something)

There was no incubation until Andy took over at well past 07:00, and then it was half-hearted.

Lena had a long break to 09:10, then they were in 'n out like a fiddler's elbow, then a fish - at which time there was still only one egg.

EGG #2 late afternoon:

I so hope this pair ''commit'' to these eggs before there are 3 and decide they can cope with party boats. Who put this nest up anyway, ? one would hope 'they' had considered such things. Thanks Scylla, Lena needs a dip bless her.

I called it a party boat because of the noise coming from it - I tried to clarify the sounds but there was a rumbling engine(?)  underlying the voices that couldn't be separated.

11/12 January - Lena incubated all night, let's hope she's turned the corner:

Because there's a several-minute gap between the downloads while they get processed and saved, I sometimes start a back-up download going to cover the gap - and it was in one such back-up clip that I did find a fish in the end - Garfish?  It takes a bit of analysing
