Probably, but as they are a new couple we'll have to wait and see.  I haven't been following them, I'll start downloading now, just to check their current behaviour.

From YT rollback, I see that they both left in the evening - last season the female stayed on the nest all night for a week or three before eggs were laid.

This is the URL for the live cam.

    Captiva, Florida

They're doing all the right things, almost!

    Nestorising:

    A successful mating:

However, this fish got brought and taken away twice!  I didn't find her getting one up to the end of the 6-hour download:

And I do realise we need a new News from Other Nests but am winding down...

Another informative feast for the eyes. Love Ospreys they are such memorising birds, and as for the fish decisions need to be made a lot.

Ospreys in Florida seen to be miles ahead of the Ospreys in the UK in their breeding habits. Must be related to the weather or something else. Love to know

At the start of last season we covered bits of the Dutch VISAREND nest - here's their short end of season video, looks like it was very successful with some mini-dramas on the way.  I can't provide a translation, but you'll get the idea.

That’s lovely Scylla thanks. Great to see success elsewhere with all the usual trials and tribulations that our ospreys experience. But some sort of bird brought to the nest! Didn’t look like a type of water fowl to me? (Loch Garten) I did a translation on stub vogel and it was “piece of bird”. Maybe the Osprey scavenged it rather than hunted it.
