HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MOON!
The moon turns new on 6 October, next Wednesday.I hope everyone has a good autumn week. The trees are just beginning to turn a bit yellow here. No strong colors yet.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Joining in the birthday wishes for dibnlib! :-)
OG; Hope next week will be better, with no hospital visits and a better appetite.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DIBNLIB!!!
OG: Dang it! I wish I could bring you some of my homemade vegetable beef soup. I'd also bake some of my grandmother's recipe for autumn Persimmon Pudding, made with good ol' Indiana wild persimmons from a secret tree in my woods. Those would fix you right up. Seriously, I hope you feel better and get your appetite back. I haven't been sending you messages on Facebook, because I didn't want you to feel burdened to answer while you've been ailing. But I think about you every day and send strength and healing over to Scotland.
