Thanks for asking Abi for changing the cam however I think and am hoping that when they collect the chicks for ringing that they will clean the lens. I am sure they have in the past so fingers crossed.

Hi Karen thank you yes much better weather for us but also for the ospreys and all they like doing is sun bathing so not much action :---)
We asked if they could clean the lens at ringing and she said they would. Will be within next couple of weeks dependent on weather.
Next time we visit they will have fledged!

Thanks LAM - yes they are lazing about quite a bit just now. I thought they would clean the lens at ringing which should be later this week given the chicks are now 5 weeks. Can't wait :-)

Today, Chick #1 is 36 days & Chick #2 is 34 days old

The chicks are now sleeping alone overnight
