Wonderful news! Thank you, Karen :) In hindsight, both have been the same size in growth rate even though there is a two day age gap (thinking about the LotL chicks here and their very noticeable differences). I should have considered that before making my 2 males prediction! lol
Edit - that's if my prediction for the Lowes chicks are correct
Birdies LG DU update.
Morning ALL
Today,
096 is 43 days and
095 is 41 days old
What terrible weather!!!
Oh I know Sandra - hindsight is a wonderful thing lol But in all fairness there was never a clear screen to actually compare their sizes!! :-D As for me, well I guessed males because of their natures - just so laid back but in hindsight because there was no competitiveness, I should of thought one of each as a male is more submissive so would just go along with his sister :-) In future we should listen to Patily :-)
Maya has flown leaving 095 & 096 with a fish
From Scroll back - the fish delivery
33 delivered the fish at 05:52
No sign of Maya so 33 ate some on the nest
One of the chicks was waiting to be fed 33 didn't so it had a nibble
Maya arrived and 33 then gave his chick a bit of fish :-)
Maya then grabbed the fish and fed the chicks
07:49 33 arrived, collected the fish and flew off with it
and just now [08:02], 095 and 096 and settled down
Off now - SYL
