Continued from Manton Bay – April 2021

The season so far: March 19, Blue 33(11) returned 12:29 closely followed by Maya @ 12:54. On March 30 Egg #1 was laid @ 11:45 , April 2, Egg #2 was seen @ 07:34 and on April 5 Egg #3 was laid @ 07:05 .

33 arrives with a headless fish

It looked as tho Maya finished off the fish at supper time...
Then she faffed around, had a preen and pulled out a feather:

It seems everybody has already had breakfast and the chicks are trying to sleep it off but are troubled by itchy feathers and Maya too is preening

Maya takes a quick break leaving the chicks snoozing of their fish
07:46 Chicks waken and get a top up
and #2 has a peck at the fish!!

Making the most of the warmer weather Poor Maya looks as if she could dowith goingto the hairdresser
