Diane: Just watched Small Town, Big Deal about the covered bridges in Parke County - that's just near you I think.....
Just a thought
The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down. (Stephen Richards)
ANNETTE: Yup. I live on the Parke County line. I'm definitely in covered bridge country. I haven't watched that documentary yet. It's on my list, but I keep forgetting. Did you enjoy it? This county is suffering because tourism is very important to the economy, and so many of the festivals and other events have had to be cancelled because of COVID.EDIT: I just watched it, Annette, because you reminded me. I've been to all of the places in the show, and I know most of those folks. It's a good representation of our rural life here.
I don't know whether the licensing will allow U.K. people to watch it, but HERE IS THE LINK. Just scroll down and click on the episode titled "Covered Bridges." The show is only 20 minutes long.
Just a joke!!!
Our walk included a drive on the coastal road where the gorse was plentiful and bright, its at its best just now. Most of the pics I took through the car window came out too blurry, but here is one:
