March thread.
This post updated 01 June
MrsG returned on the 25th of March and was joined by Aran on the 29th.
(The beginning of the reunion video is a must-see for all fans of MrsG - I'm posting it today 01 June, to remind us of a happy time before the tragedies of May 2021.)
The month of May brought unrelenting wind, rain and corvids, as well as persistent intruder KS8 (among others) - and Aran somehow injured his right wing, rendering him unable to fish. Within a few days all the chicks had sickened and died. It could hardly have been more stressful for MrsG and Aran, but they are recovering together while the caring Glaslyn team is supplying fish each night.
(The chicks' bodies have been removed from the nest by Aran and MrsG, so we shall never know the cause of their deaths.)
In the right margin of this page are links to Glaslyn's posts documenting the misfortunes on the nest.

Mike B said:HI MC. Any clue as to what time the LS went down please, for Heather?,
My last session finished @ 21:20 last evenng - I'm sure Heather would have been around, or other watchers, at that time and would have seen it go down, so I wonder if that's way out - plus my Recycle Bin doesn't keep what it's supposed to. It's such a nuisance that I've got these pesky internet problems lately.
Stream went down @ 14:00 today - or a very few minutes earlier, allowing for time for my downloader to process the completed stream, which had lasted 3h12m.
All other stream were not affected, so it was nothing to do with my internet.
EDIT - Oops, missed the 6 hours prior to the 3h12m final session - there was a search where the Mistle Thrush was singing yesterday but only a Raven heard:
Cam has not been revived.
Birdies LG DU update.
Kind regards, Ann
I lost the cam @ around 13:30
I've got a few critters 29/30 January but now that I've extracted them I don't feel they're time-worthy.
I had set the "new" URL downloading before I went off-duty, but now I see that the cam went down at exactly the time of my last post - ie, 02:33, in case Heather wants to know.
