March thread.
This post updated 01 June
MrsG returned on the 25th of March and was joined by Aran on the 29th.
(The beginning of the reunion video is a must-see for all fans of MrsG - I'm posting it today 01 June, to remind us of a happy time before the tragedies of May 2021.)
The month of May brought unrelenting wind, rain and corvids, as well as persistent intruder KS8 (among others) - and Aran somehow injured his right wing, rendering him unable to fish. Within a few days all the chicks had sickened and died. It could hardly have been more stressful for MrsG and Aran, but they are recovering together while the caring Glaslyn team is supplying fish each night.
(The chicks' bodies have been removed from the nest by Aran and MrsG, so we shall never know the cause of their deaths.)
In the right margin of this page are links to Glaslyn's posts documenting the misfortunes on the nest.

IMAGICAT
After Aran & MrsG were on the nest defending (as per my post above) they had to return in a hurry.
It looks as tho Aran has broken his right "wrist" and it needed to be reset (in an ideal human world), but it's healed with a more exaggerated kink than Blue28's, whose wing looked almost normal at times.
Nearly all my Blue28 pics are on a dead laptop, lots of treasures there. I do have this one,

My mind is blown, imagining our wonderful birds on perilous journeys over land and sea, in adverse conditions. They need to be 100% fit.
The cam was buffering in 'n out of black all day, umpossible to scroll thru.

Looking back, MrsG had flown from perch to nest @ approx 02:15, she never left the nest all morning (as far as I can see between blackages). Aran was with her for part of the time, I think they were defending -vs- corvids but there may have been others unseen.
Aran got himself a fish - here he was with a tasty morsel dangling from his beak, while MrsG was screaming at him from the nest, he didn't save her any:
Around noon (???) the blackages stopped. For some hours, empty nest, then MrsG was back, then both of them, then both left... and MrsG returned.
No zooms on MrsG up to 19:00, which is as far as I've got.
Birdies LG DU update.
Oh, absolutely Mike! lol

Here is a video of the momentous event, SCYLLA will back it up with one of her super-duper ones later.
